Virginia Villanueva
Expert in Enotourism.
Virginia Villanueva, our esteemed manager at Thegetawine, brings with her a symphony of experience between cultural, scientific and wine tourism and its management. From his beginnings he had wine tourism in his sights, and after combining studies and work at the Sierra de Atapuerca sites for several years, he managed to graduate with a special mention in the Master's Degree in Wine Culture at the University of Burgos. The Ribera del Duero Wine Route and his time at a renowned family winery in Ribera del Duero helped him to understand the different facets of this complex sector. A multi-faceted professional, Virginia's journey includes long stints in foreign countries, educational, commercial and volunteer roles that showcase her diverse talents. Virginia's passion for wine tourism and her ability to recognize the day-to-day operational needs of wineries make her a pillar of our team. Let's toast as she would, a 100% syrah!
Maria Sanchez
Master of digital marketing.
Thanks to her roots in the vineyards of Medina del Campo, in the heart of the Rueda Denomination of Origin, María brings to our team a brilliant marriage between wine and marketing. Your track record? Graduated in Business Administration and Law at the University of Valladolid, she decided to specialize in SEO and search engines such as Google Analytics at the University of Nebrija. Her experience in the University of Valladolid, economic management and in the legal environment, make her a key piece in the day to day of our small family. You will always find Maria in constant balance, straddling the art of SEO and content development, making the digital world her playground. Her eternal smile and disposition make her a key member of Thegetawine. Let's toast with a verdejo for your drive and dedication!
Emilio Santos
Master of Technology and Multitasking Expert
Emilio is a true technology geek. He is responsible for making all our resources sparkle and shine at Thegetawine. With great predisposition he manages to carry out the crazy ideas of the most innovative heads of the team, adapting them to the reality of web design. And he still wants to run his own business and help out with the family business. A graduate of the University of Valladolid, Emilio's background includes large companies such as Sanitas where he dealt with support services and the ins and outs of hardware, complemented by a foundation in LaTeX, BIG DATA architecture, security technologies and digital marketing. Our bilingual developer shares what little free time he has left with the Valladolid Time Bank, where he generously offers his time and expertise. Although his destiny has taken him to wine country, we will toast to his commitment and good work with a good whiskey!
Luis Gutierrez
Creative Dynamo and Video Wizard
Luis, our creative master, effortlessly combines the worlds of advertising creativity and video, and enjoys it to the fullest! He is constantly generating ideas for brand actions, even as he walks the aisles of the supermarket his head is spinning in search of the perfect proposal. His specialty lies in capturing the best moments of big events, digital campaigns, brand activations and the art of creating creative concepts. For more than 5 years, he has passionately held the position of Chief Creative Officer, where he conceptualizes and shapes projects from start to finish, from slogans, invitations, activations, dynamization and concepts. But there's more: he's also an ace in the audiovisual field, handling everything from recording to editing. Passionate about his sector, he trained in VFX compositing with Nuke for film and advertising. Maybe it's this training or his time at the Valladolid International Film Week (SEMINCI), but he confesses that watching a series with him can be quite an experience because he will pause the playback about 5 times per episode to immerse himself in the complexities of composition and color correction. Keep this in mind to choose the right wine when sharing a movie session with him. Luis brings an irresistible touch of creativity and video magic to our team at Thegetawine.
Miguel Martin
Artistic and Creative Visionary.
Miguel, our Art Director, has been an integral part of the Thegetawine family. To him we owe the insignia of our logo under which we all develop our activity, as well as the aesthetics of our website. Throughout his career, he has led artistic projects for public organizations such as the Juntas de Andalucía and Valencia, as well as renowned private organizations such as Telefónica, Decathlon, Paramount Comedy, Verdecora, Orange, Mahou, BMW, Citroen, Renault, MAPFRE, HP, TEDx. Miguel has participated in major projects in the independent art world during his 25-year career. The creation of characters, video-scribe style illustrations, his contribution to plays, participation in educational platforms such as EDUCATERRA (Telefónica) and collaborations with renowned brands such as "SANTILLANA" make Miguel the source of creativity that this team was looking for. Miguel moves like a fish in water in the world of cinema. He has participated in the creative area of cartoons as a cartoonist and computer graphics artist. He has contributed to projects such as "Dragon Hill, winner of the Goya Award for Best Spanish Animated Film in 2002. The last editions of the SEMINCI have his hand in the graphic supports of the event. Miguel's journey in the field of art and design is a testament to his endless creativity and dedication to bringing imagination to life. We are honored to have her creativity (and spontaneous illustrations) as a member of our creative team at Thegetawine.
