Get to know two great grape varieties: Verdejo and Tinta de Toro. Verdejo grape production is centered in provinces such as Valladolid, Segovia and Álava, in Castilla y León, which produces the best white wines with D.O. Although it is also produced in Asturias, Cantabria and the Canary Islands, although the latter to a lesser extent. The Rueda D.O. stands out in Europe for its approach, as one of the few wine regions that focuses on growing, preserving and enhancing this grape, which results in wines with unique characteristics thus offering a wide range of fresh and aromatic wines that reflect the characteristics of the local variety and terroir. Tinta de Toro is a grape variety native to the region of Toro, Zamora. It is the preferred grape of the Denomination of Origin Tororecognized for its uniqueness and deep-rootedness in the territory. It can be said that it shares similarities with Tempranillo or Tinto Fino, in terms of how the vines are treated. This variety can be used to obtain high quality young, crianza and reserve wines, characterized by their balance, light acidity and aromas reminiscent of wild fruits.
